1、 Hydraulic oil and oil temperature (the first key in winter)
Timely replace/check the hydraulic oil model
Commonly used in summer: 46 # anti-wear hydraulic oil
If the temperature is below 10 ℃, it is recommended to replace it with 32 # low-temperature hydraulic oil
Long term temperature below 0 ℃: Use low-temperature specialized hydraulic oil, otherwise the oil will be too thick, difficult to start, slow to rise and fall, and the oil pump will be easily damaged.
Strictly prohibit direct high-pressure operation of refrigeration units
Just start the machine and run it without load for 5-10 minutes
Raise the oil temperature above 15 ℃ before formal pressing
Direct high pressure of cold oil is most likely to damage oil seals, burst pipes, and wear out oil pumps
Check the oil level and quality
Low oil level → suction → bubbles → shaking, abnormal noise
Oil emulsification, whitening, thinning → replace immediately
2、 Sealing components, pipeline antifreeze and crack prevention
Low temperature will make the sealing ring harder and reduce its elasticity
Easy to occur: oil leakage, pressure relief, and inability to maintain pressure
Check before winter: replace the main cylinder oil seal, guide sleeve, and valve group seal if they are aging
Key inspection of pipelines and joints
Oil pipes are brittle at low temperatures and prone to cracking due to vibration
Focus on: elbows, joints, aging rubber hoses
Replace in advance if there is oil leakage, bulging, or hardening
3、 Lubrication of moving parts (columns, guide rails, pin shafts)
Column and guide rail
In winter, the viscosity of lubricating oil increases, so it is necessary to replace it with low-temperature lubricating grease/thin oil
Manually lubricate before starting up every day to ensure smooth operation of the slider
Lack of oil can cause: lagging, shaking, scratching the chrome plating layer of the column
Pin axis and hinge parts
The crossbeam and connecting rod pin shaft of a four column Hydraulic Press
Cold weather is prone to dryness and abnormal noise
Add low-temperature butter to ensure flexible rotation
4、 Electrical and control system antifreeze
Distribution box, solenoid valve coil
Moisture and low temperature are prone to condensation, resulting in short circuits and malfunctions
Keep the distribution box closed and add desiccant if necessary
Travel switch, limit switch
Low temperature lag can lead to: no return, no deceleration, and top collision
Manually test the upper and lower limits before starting up
5、 Cooling water, cooling system (machines with coolers)
Outdoor/unheated workshops must drain water
If the water in the cooler and water-cooled oil cylinder is not drained, it will freeze and crack
After draining, blow off the residual water with compressed air
Try to turn off the cooling water in winter and rely on natural cooling
6、 Foundation, support legs, environment (especially important for four column machines)
Ground icing and slipping
The center of gravity of the four column machine is high, and the downward inertia of the slider is large
Ice on the ground can easily cause displacement and vibration, leading to decreased accuracy and shaking
Try to keep the workshop temperature above 5 ℃ as much as possible
It's really not possible, add an electric insulation sleeve to the fuel tank
Stable oil temperature doubles machine lifespan
7、 Daily operation precautions
Start up with no load and repeat up and down several times to preheat
No sudden high pressure, no rapid impact suppression
If slow lifting, abnormal noise, and shaking are found, immediately stop the machine and check the oil temperature and quality
Lower the slider to a low position before leaving work to reduce the long-term stress on the oil cylinder
8、 Summarize the key points of winter maintenance in one sentence
Change the correct oil, preheat first, lubricate frequently, seal tightly, prevent water freezing, and control oil temperature
